What would I want someone to know about me? I truly want people know what’s on the inside, what drives me and how I came to this point in my life, having gone from a life long a career as an airline pilot, to leading a team of entrepreneurs on a mission to change their destinies through leadership, personal development and business development.
Ever since I was 9 years old, I knew I wanted to fly airplanes. After my first flight in a light twin engine airplane, I was hooked. From that day forward, I set my sights on a career in aviation and was determined to become an airline pilot. With a razor sharp focus, I studied hard, got good grades, and set a course to become successful. I attended Aviation High School, a specialized school in NY and continued on to college and earned a Bachelors of Science in Aviation Management. In addition to school, I obtained all of my flight licences and training at a flight school in Florida.
After working for many years “paying my dues”, I landed my dream job of flying for a Major Airline in 1999. Unfortunately, September 11th, 2001, proved to be a turning point in my career as I soon learned that a safe, secure job with benefits was a thing of the past. It was the first time in my professional career I was without work and up against some stiff competition.
After several pay cuts, job losses and lost pensions in the years to follow, I was fortunate to secure a job flying for another Major Airline, where I have been employed now for the last 7 years. Those career disappointments motivated and taught me the importance of having a Plan B. I always thought that “there had to be a better way”. I tried a bunch of different business ventures and met each challenge with a determination to succeed. I felt like I was spinning my wheels and was spending way more time doing something I really didn’t want to do, with little to show for it.
It wasn’t until I was introduced to TEAM in 2008 by my close friends Steven and Gia De Lorie, did I truly understand the principles and benefits of a B-type business based around Leadership, personal development, a system and leverage. TEAM and LIFE changed my life forever in so many ways that I can’t help but “pay it forward”.
Today, happily married and more excited about my future than ever, I look forward to the future as my wife Tanya and I continue on our leadership journey towards helping our team reach a million leaders thru the LIFE business.
I dedicate this site to my sister Linda, who passed away from Leukemia at 47, after a 5+ year battle with breast cancer. Her relentless passion for life inspired me in a big way to help others and Live LIFE to the fullest. We are also thankful for all of our friends and mentors, Steve & Gia, Terry & Ann, Claude & Lana and our TEAM. I hope you find this blog fun, inspiring, informative, interesting and useful.
